General Terms and Conditions – Clos Allegria

Purpose of the general terms and conditions

The furnished accommodation is rented as a short-term rental for the period specified in the booking. The accommodation is located at 35 rue de la gaieté, 37400 Amboise. The tenant acknowledges that this rental is not their primary residence. The tenant is the person named in the booking and accepting these terms and conditions. They are responsible for the accommodation and any accompanying persons for the entire duration of the stay.

Rental conditions

  • The owner rents the accommodation to the tenant for the period specified in the booking. The stay is for a fixed and non-renewable period , unless otherwise agreed in writing by the owner. The tenant expressly agrees to have completely vacated the accommodation by the checkout date, at the latest by the checkout time indicated in the booking and by email, and to return the keys to the owner.
  • The number of people allowed is as indicated in the booking details . Upon arrival, the owner will give the tenant the keys and instructions for the accommodation.
  • The Parties have agreed to fix the rental price indicated in the reservation for the entire duration of the stay.

Booking and Confirmation:

  • All bookings must be made online via our website or directly.
  • A reservation is considered confirmed only after receipt of full payment for the rental, and receipt of the security deposit, according to the terms defined below.
  • The rental is granted for a fixed period, indicated at the time of booking, and may not be extended under any circumstances without the written agreement of the owner.
  • The tenant agrees to vacate the premises on the scheduled date and time.

Prices and Payment:

  • 50% deposit upon booking
  • Balance due 14 days before arrival
  • 100% of the total rental amount is required to definitively confirm the reservation.
  • Prices are displayed on the website and may vary depending on the season and day.

Cancellation conditions:

  • 97% refundable in case of cancellation 14 days or more before arrival (bank charges included)
  • 50% refundable in case of cancellation 7 days or more before arrival
  • No refunds will be given for any cancellations made less than 7 days before the arrival date.

Check-in and Check-out:

  • Arrival (check-in) : from 4pm
  • Check-out : no later than 10am

Security deposit:

  • The day before moving in, the tenant authorizes the landlord to make a pre-authorization on their credit card for an amount of EUR 500 , which will not be charged, to cover:
    • damage or deterioration of the accommodation, furniture or equipment
    • the loss of keys or objects.
  • In the case of payment by bank transfer, a receipt of the transfer or a check for 500 EUR will be required before access to the accommodation.
  • The security deposit will be returned within 7 days at the latest after departure , provided that the accommodation is returned in its original condition when the keys are returned.

Rules and Obligations of Stay:

  • The accommodation is strictly non-smoking.
  • Pets are not allowed
  • The maximum number of occupants is set at 7 people.
  • Parties and events are prohibited.
  • No noise likely to disturb the neighborhood between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
  • Internet use must comply with current legislation (HADOPI).
  • The house rules provided with the accommodation must to be respected

Failure to comply with the rules of stay may result in the immediate termination of the contract without compensation.

Responsibility :

  • The tenant is responsible for:
    • the cleanliness of the accommodation during the stay;
    • to return the accommodation in the same condition than upon his arrival.
  • The tenant is responsible for damages caused by himself, the people accompanying him or his visitors. It is recommended to have holiday liability insurance.
  • The landlord cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the tenant’s belongings. The tenant may not take any legal action against the landlord in the event of theft or damage.

Personal data:

  • The personal data collected is necessary for managing the reservation. It is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) .

Disputes – Applicable Law:

  • This contract is governed by French law . In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts will be those of the location of the accommodation .

By making a reservation, the tenant declares that they have read, understood, and accepted without reservation this rental agreement and these booking conditions.
